This is how I read it on,

http://virnow.com/2011/10/21/winter-driving-package/

Is this right or can you add more (more than 6 is even less????)
This is correct. Not sure where the $150 extra came into play and not sure where some others came up with the prices.

Winter Driving Package Includes:

Based on 6 person package

Hot track times are from 9 AM to 4:30 PM

Available Sunday – Monday, December 12, 2011 thru February 23, 2012

EMS services to include ambulance and fire truck

Maximum of 6 cars allowed on the track at any one time

Priced for one night stay, based on 6 rooms –includes breakfast, lunch & dinner (alcohol not included)

You may custom design your Winter Driving Package by adding:

Additional Nights of Lodging

Additional Meal Tickets

Additional Rooms

Villas Upgrade

Additional Fire or Rescue Truck

Corner Workers

Pit Lane Garage

Can someone that has been to this track please comment on this:
Does more than double the cost warrant moving up to full course? It's only 1/2 mile longer. And what about 1 car, 2 drivers?

Thanks guys

full course is 4200.00/6 = 700 per person.
patriot is 1926.00/6 = 321 per person.
grand west 6120.00/6 = 1020 per person

Just saying what the website states. Thats the 6 car package. I would call and see what can be done or changed. The full course is 3.71 miles long, the patriot course is 1.10 miles long however its 1926 for 6 cars.

ok I talked with VIR 4850 per day + the 150 is for every car over 6 we can take as many as we want.Just can not have but 6 on the track at a time.we can cut up our track time anyway we want. The fee includes breakfast,Lunch,Dinner and 6 rooms.
"hot" track time is 9AM to 4:30 pm lunch time is optional they just need to know our plans.
we do our own tech for saftey.and pick who is on track when.
many week days are still open we just need to pick one.

Thursdays and Fridays are usually best for me, except for next week. I'll try to make it if it lands on any other day. Just need sufficient notice.

Has anyone tried to road course their car in these temps with the stock tires? I have plenty of Bogarts and slicks but just the stock 20's to try the road course. I'm just trying to avoid wrecking in the first turn!
