I don't go drag racing very often, but when I do, I like to go with friends.
I need to get some practice time in before the Race the Runway weekend.
Who wants to come for some fun?

We only got to race 1/8 mile for most of the day.
Near the end they let us do 1/4 mile for 3 runs.
The way I figure it, (1)either I suck, (2)the Pirelli's suck as drag tires, (3)or the car sucks.
And I'm pretty sure it's not the car's fault.
I did a 13.157 @ 121.18 with a 2.5 60ft. My 60ft times were bad all day.
On my best run I got distracted looking at the Camaro in my mirror and forgot to shift into 4th and the rev limiter reminded me about 100ft from the line and blew it with a 13.2.
I was made aware after the fact that sometimes when we do bad at the track that there is a option (4)where the track prep sucked.
They were also making the cars with street tires launch out of the groove.
Probably a combination of 1, 2, 4

Tires are important,

I ran St Thomas on Saturday and has a best time 13.110 @ 115mph, but on one of my runs i actually hit a 119mph trap speed. Will be getting some radials or slicks ASAP.
