car covers

So i am planning to buy an indoor car cover for my ZL1.

Best deal i found was 250ish on ebay for the GM oem version.

Was just at auto zone and the generic ones there are 30, 50 and 70 bucks.

So, has anyone tried the cheap auto store version??
Is there any reason to pay the GM money?

Thanks
Tony

Don't go cheap. That said, I would not get the GM one either. I keep my Vette under a satin-like indoor cover from Covercraft. Look at what they have to offer -- no, they're not cheap, but you don't want cheap on a nice car.

I have the GM indoor cover and it's real nice. Fits perfectly with the ZL1 logo embossed all over it. However, Covercraft makes an excellent cover as well. I had their flannel cover (super soft) on my previous car and it was a great cover as well. Cover King also makes a nice cover.

So oem options:

http://www.shopchevyparts.com/exteri...-92255047.html
$284

http://www.shopchevyparts.com/exteri...-92255046.html
$266

http://www.shopchevyparts.com/exteri...-92255043.html
$231

What is the difference between the two indoor covers, other than logos?

Any advantage to using an outdoor cover for inside the garage?

Can you guys confirm whether the inside of these are sofe material or just vinyl?

Will be doing some wood work in the garage this winter, so there will be saw dust floating around.

Any other cost effective options?

Thanks
Tony

I have the middle one which is specific to the ZL1 and has a soft fleece lining so it doesn't scratch the paint.

I have the 231.00 one and it is really nice. It fits like a glove,it's like a fleece material inside and soft. It is the nicest cover I have ever bought.

Checked them, didnt see what youre talking about.

For the black ZL1 cover, does it have an antenna pocket? The reviews say it doesnt?

Is there added protection with the outdoor cover? Its only 20 bucks more.

Just looked at mine. The OEM black cover does not have an antenna pocket.
