Volume Control

Since I recently purchased my first GM product I've been following the forums here but this is my first post. I've got a 2015 2LT. My question is why is there such a lag when using the volume controls on the steering wheel? Is that normal or is it a problem with just my vehicle. I currently have to hold the volume up or down for more than a whole second before it even begins to adjust the radio volume. Thanks for any input anyone might have.

It's a lot quicker if you just hit it once per volume change. Just tap repeatedly to increase volume almost immediately. Holding it down might cause it to lag.

It could possibly be caused by a faulty catch-can...

Push and hold for slow volume increase.
Tap for large volume increase.
It's normal.

Perhaps you need an additional catch-can then. The more the merrier

your blinker fluid could be low, have the dealer check it.

Hook up your Vitesse throttle controller to the buttons in your steering wheel - much faster response times

Yep, there is no such thing as too many catch cans.

I've noticed that too. Even pushing the button repeatedly has too small of increments for me. I just use the knob.

I usually prefer to listen to the exhaust with catless down pipes, x pipe, and muffler deletes! I say prefer but its hard to hear over it anyways.

I finally got my catch can installed on my other catch can and moved the vtc to the steering volume control..... the volume is still slow as hell and the wires choke me when I make a sharp left turn...
