Good reminder. Man I screamed on here for the longest time that there were 6 and not 4 nuts. Yes, loctite them!!!

Did you have the dealer do the service update (09207A) for the HVAC/Engine Harness/Rear spoiler fasteners? I'm pretty sure they install the loctite then

Does anyone know if this was an issue that was eventually corrected at the factory. I remember seeing several discussions about this, and even a recall issue, but that was all prior to my build date (10/19/09). I haven't looked at mine yet. I will just to be safe, but I would be surprised if they weren't already addressing at the factory.

We will have the dealer 'retrieve it'' next time we bring it in...  BTW, we consider the loose spoiler bolt a 'badge of honor', because it identifies our car as R6P, since the early VINs were the only ones affected...lol...'gotta look at the positive'...lol...

wow, thats annoying! Im going to have to check again, my car had factory stripes, i knows yours did too Trent but mine was really tight from the get go, im going to check again today to spend some time with her

When you tighten up the nuts are there still threads exposed on the studs? how about double nutting them? An old trick but it works...
