Wife's grandma has been itching for a ride in the Z. 92 yr old, great grandmother, never held a driver's license... LOVES talking shop and looking at automobiles.

What a cool grandma!

I once took my grandma to a family get together in my '69 Z/28 and ran off a couple of gears fairly good on the way. All she said was "boy she sure is peppy" !

Granny flat out rocks!! Look at that smile. She made my day!!
My 67 year old mother got the first ride in my 1le. She was in the car for 20 seconds, looks at me and says "well". I say well what. She looks at me with a devilish grin and says "well open her up!!" I of course did what what mom says. She loved it. My brother did scare her with his Hellcat though. Lol

Haha, thanks fella.

She's all together with her mind, just unstable to stand well. Her balance is messed up due to loss of vision in one eye and losing the vision in the other.

Great conversations with her. Sharp as any of us. Loves to know details and statistics.

Golden mile tire
4737 William Penn Hwy, Monroeville, PA 15146
412-856-8711

Tire Rack's on the place and reviews:
https://www.tirerack.com/installer/I...se&saved=false

Owner is Carl. He's an old guy with a stubborn personality and but is a tire geek. He and his employee, Tom, know what they're doing. Won't damage wheels and will have your tires/wheels Roadforced as perfect as the tire/wheel allow. No appointments. 1st come 1st serve. The building is nothing special to look at. Around $120 is what you can expect to pay for mounting and Roadforce balancing, based off sidewall size.

Enjoy the experience. I'm there multiple times a yr. Love it

Hey Gstick, I see you are in SW PA, if jon's tire guy is to far from you, I have another tire guy for you, Sower's Tire, right on PA Route 711. They are actually in Fairfield Township, but the address is listed as:

5205 Route 711, Bolivar, PA 15923
(724) 235-2162

Brad is the second generation owner and he is an easy going, honest guy. They mounted Bridgestone RE71R's on my 19" Forgelines and also mounted OEM Goodyear F1's on my 1LE wheels. They are patient and gentle with the wheels. And their prices are not crazy either.
But they do not have a road force balancer.

Thanks jon for the info on Golden Mile Tire, it's hard to find good tire guys!

Since you actually track your car and not just a cruiser, I'm sure you'd appreciate the road force balancing. Since I 1st had it done a few yrs ago, won't go without it. Smooths out the ride, even on 75 series sidewalls. Well worth the extra $20/total.

Tirerack lists road force capable shops on their site, not too many near Johnstown though
