Stop breaking stuff! It’s not good for you.

I broke it on a well prepped track on my 2nd pass on 315 Michelin PSS's... The first pass I took it easy and trapped at 124. For the second pass, I went for it and boom...

Man I hate to hear that. No problems with my zl1 diff so far. What are you thinking about going to now?

I am thinking of the ZL1 or an eaton truetrak and end cover that preloads the bearing caps along with moving up to a 3.70 rear gear from Lingenfelter - but then the 1/2 shafts are the weak link - it will come down to what I can afford.

I weighed the cost on both and was cheaper to do a drop in zl1 if you can find it. Mine came from Georgia as the 3.23 and then swapped to 3.73 when I saved more money.

I bought the whole read drop out and used the diff and axles. Saved a few parts and scrapped the rest.

ZL1 Diff and half shafts are on the way. I will drop cradle to completely clean and repaint everything. Install DSE solid cradle bushings and Z28 upper inner control arm bushings. That should do it for any wheel hop since all of the other arms and rods are BMR. I will also fill in the voids of the diff mount bushings with 3M Expoxy Urethane that is used for installing windshields.

Nice!

I know its easy to spend other peoples money, but it would be a great time to do a 15 inch conversion. Even if you just do the BMR drag kit, (coilovers and control arms) now, while you have the cradle out. You can do the brakes and wheels later. Just a thought.

I'll be shopping for the zl1 diff/axles real soon im sure..

I already have all BMR control arms 17" wheels and Hoosier 28x10.5" ProDrag Radial slicks. Next money I spend will be to go automatic.

Almost of the parts are now on hand for swapping in an entire ZL1 3.37 diff. Just waiting on a few bolts.

Staying with the auto ring and pinion? I'd prefer the 3:73s, but I'm jealous either way.

I've been considering an eaton tru trac, diff cover and some DSS 1000hp axles. That would run about $2000, but no one really knows how much power it can take.

Good luck

Don't waste money on your Camaro diff axles and driveshaft.

Move to the ZL-1 Diff package no need for aftermarket anything with this package.
