If someone does it right, sure, you could possibly see some nice gains... If someone does a poor job, they can actually make things worse.
There was a company that was working on head porting (not sure if it was CNC or not), and also cams? But they kind of disappeared. |

How much is porting . Car has to go in the I think a push rods or a valve is loose. I was taking under consideration about the ported polished and valve job ...

I recently talked to bo white on here he's popular with the v8 guys because of his throttle bodies. I believe he ports by hand. (He can do LFX throttle bodies as well) also I asked out of curiosity about porting the LFX heads he said he could do it, idk what gains one would expect but I expect the labor to be around 500-600 but if it shows some decent gains I may have to give him a shot!

I gotcha Jason, he probably is really busy! He said he is unsure of the gains we would recive on out heads and throttle body since he hasnt done an LFX but sounds like he's willing to try. Do you think we would receive much with these intergrated heads?

I'll port anything aluminum that's worth porting. From Yamaha heads to big block Ford.

Wow Bo those look great! I probably won't be doing any engine mods till after the new year. By then I'm hoping I can get a ported intake manifold from Jason and a ported TB from you as well so I can see that combo, still very interested in getting my heads done. Wish somebody had some extra laying around that way we could see some gains!

Bo is located in Alabama
Nope never have, I have an LFX engine that's mostly assembled. I don't want to pull the heads off until I'm done playing with SC BS Nice pics Bo! |

I'd assume you'd need a tune if you did ported heads?
