Looking to get tuned.
I’m looking to get my ZL1 tuned. Anyone know of a good tuner in the south jersey/Philadelphia area? Suggestions on other tuning options? Thanks.

Bump...maybe a handheld tuner that I can plug into the car and upload a pre-manufactured tune specifically for my car?

huh...sorry bud...not sure why any ZL1 peeps did not respond....2 options...first is the hand held option with dynoSteve at RDP...https://www.rdpstore.com/p-6042-sct-...tom-tunes.aspx...can't be beat with the lifetime free tunes...2nd is Jannetty and that would be for a dyno tune...https://jannettyracing.com/collectio...ose-your-grind
depends on if you want to play around and make bolt on mods as time/$$$ permits or a one time big bang cam/head/etc with a dyno... good luck! peace

RDP is out towards your area and they do good work from what I've heard. Also CSP (Complete Street Performance) I've heard does really good work. If you want to take a road trip, find out when Jeremy Formato is coming up to Gettysburg and let him work his magic.

We have great mail-order tuning support for the ZL1!
Can even get you an upgrade package with tuning if you wanted to do some upgrades as well. |

Go to Complete Street Performance in West Chester PA. Gained a ton of power just from their tune.

The best way to go is a dyno tune.

Wow thanks for the help. Here's my plan: I have little intentions on doing anything more than what I have already...CAI and kooks headers W/ high flow cats I need to install still. The only reason I'm considering a tune is because I heard it's best to get one done when you do the headers. I'm not really looking for anymore speed than whatever the intake, headers, cats, and a tune happen to give me. So with that being said, is a handheld tune or dyno tune better for my situation? I'm leaning towards a dyno tune, I'm going to look into complete street performance.

Dyno tune by far. I made 429 to the wheels with complete street performance tuning it with similar mods to you. You won’t be disappointed. The best thing about them is the price of their tune. Can’t beat it. Everyone else around us I feel like is closer to 700 for a dyno tune

If you know this is all you will do then get a dyno tune and call it a day.
