Any Pedders updates?

Anyone in the know have any updates to the Pedders saga? I have received a couple email from Ron Pedder and he assures me they are not leaving us high and dry and will be back once the legal crap is done.

I am more than willing to scrap my Pedders Supercars for something as good or better but will not until i find something that will work with my Pedders adjustable camber plates.

I would not count on any Pedders parts in the near future as one of their top dealers we have received no support from AU.
If I was going to replace my Pedders coil overs (which I did) I would go with Ridetech they are an Indiana company with over 20 years of taking care of their dealers and customers or if you have the budget for a true race coil over JRI/Detroit Speed is the way to go.

Thanks Bruce. I bought my CF XR1/XR3 pads from you.

I have looked at the JRI/Det speed. I just dont want to have to ditch my Pedders adjustable camber plates to run different coilovers. Any ideas?

I'm glad you like the mounts we proto typed them here at the shop with Pete. If their coil overs work with the stock upper mount they will work with the Pedders upper mounts. I have spoken to both and am waiting to see.

Not a thing. Its just a principle thing i guess. The fact that they just left us hanging here kind of has me pissed a bit. I'm kind of grumpy these days....think Clint Eastwood and "Get off my lawn".

Yep, Pete told me the story about them. Really cool. Wasn't it during or near a C5 fest or some major event? I still cant belive the crap that happened to such a good thing. Cant wait to hear what the real story is. Hopefully one day we will all know.

Hey Bull, the DSE's come with their own camber plates if you opt for the "race" package. Good luck and let us know what you decide!

Thanks Nate! I remember reading that, as well as the KW coilovers...the top ones come with their own.

This seems like a better option as it gets more Pedders off my car. This custom twin turbo has set me back a bit so it may be a while. Have to live with the Pedders Red for a while longer....who knows, maybe they will get their sierra together in the mean time.

I get that Pedders is gone pretty much for good in the US from what I have heard from another former Pedder's dealer...but so what...the Supercar Coilovers are an awesome product and mine still perform flawlessly...

I have been to 3 autocross events in the last 4 weeks, I set the fastest lap and won the overall autocross at MATS in Vegas this weekend, was 2nd both days for Modern Muscle at the Street Machine and Muscle Car Nationals at Fairplex in Pomona and 3rd place both days in Modern Muscle at Hotchkis event at Fontana...

As one of the few that actually drives the shit out of my 1LE at as many events as I can get to, just use them till they give up, the Pedders product is great, once you have an issue, then swap or upgrade if that is what you want to do...

I'm a bit annoyed at Pedders myself, not that they left as that can happen, but basically said screw you all who bought from them and seems from folks who know that we are left with no support, basically your warranty is worthless on very expensive shocks and they are still in business, not cool.
THat said I like them and wont throw money away till they break. 5000 miles, 4 auto x events and 3 to 4 hard canyon carving runs on some rough pavement, really put them through their paces with our bad roads, and working great. Hopefuly they last as they say and wont need another set as long as I have the car.

Pete is active on Facebook almost daily and I hear he'll be at C5Fest in person....

Hopefully they can turn a corner and make a comeback. I really enjoyed having him and their products here for everybody.

Well if you wanna stick to your principles and toss your sways and endlinks you just let me know. Can't convert to FE4+ unless I get ones that fit around the canisters.
