I wonder when the Dealers are going to acknowledge the recall for those of us who have older models. The three Bigger dealers here in town still have know Idea??? Or thats what they say ????

i called my dealer here in Kansas city (Overland Park, ks) last week, and service advisor knew nothing aboiut it. i told him its all over the news. he said till its official and my VIN is included, nothing he could do.

We had the Same info. On our Impala, supposedly they have the same problem?

I'm not sure what point you're trying to make with the collectors cars comments. I've never bought a car with the intention of selling it later. that's what leases are for. I still have an 03 wrx and an 05 expedition. Not because they're "collectors cars" but because I bought them because I wanted them. That being said, do you really think not having the "recall correct key" is going to make your car un saleable? Might as well total it huh? Or its going to bring the value down to car auction levels? I'm not following your logic.
