Found this in the paper today. 10,000 camaros ordered

I was reading the paper today in the car section to see if there was any new new's about the camaro. And sure enough there was...It was a article tell people that there has been over 10,000 order's placed for the camaro, and one of the guy's with GM(don't know his name off the top of my head) said that the majority of the camaro's that have been pre-ordered are V6's. I just thought I would post that information.

AT the end of October at the 6,000 sold mark, 84% were V8's. Thats one hell of a come back if that news is correct.

Nope, the attachment is there. It's kind of small because i cut it from the paper and scanned it. But it's in the last paragraph.

Doesn't say most of the orders were for V6 models...just a considerable amount.

And Mark LaNeve loves that word...considerable...that's the second article in two days that he's used it.

"considerable" != "majority" (!= is programming parlance for not equals)

Ok, sorry a CONSIDERABLE AMOUNT were V6's. That mean's either REALLY close to the # of V8's or more than V8's

For the Camaro to be a success, we better HOPE a lot of V6's sell! The Stang is successful from girls and rental companies driving V6's, not the hardcores driving the V8.

Not really. If one would expect pretty much all of the cars to be v8s since the only people ordering now are enthusiasts, even 10% could be considered "considerable"
