Yayyyyy, so I got a message from Corey, we had a broken wire in a bundle and it was for one of the O2 sensors, that's fixed and now we should be able to move on to tuning... Yayyyyyy... I might have to stay home for that, not sure I can watch that thing on a Dyno at close to 9,000 rpm...

Well let's see... Last week we lowered the front cradle and pulled the dry sump pan down. It was seeping a bit of oil mostly around the back. Everything was cleaned and a new bead of sealant was applied and the pan was reinstalled.

We also found a finger tight fitting on a trans coolant line. That was tightened. It shouldn't be long before the final tuning takes place. The shop has been busy getting other cars out so we can concentrate on Brandi and Chris's car that also runs the mile.

Other than that, I have to flare the fenders a little bit yet, and she should be ready to go... Oh, and I need to finish the spoiler for the mile runs...

Give me a heads up when you guys are gonna dyno that beast. I can add some weight to the back to help keep her on the dyno. Might look something like this with all the weight you'll need. haha

Will do, and thanks. The tool truck guy from Snap-on won't get near it. He was on the straps for one pull, got real sick looking and left on wobbly legs.

Well...those turbos do move a lot of air. Maybe there was a low pressure area in the dyno room that made him feel light-headed?

So we got the second battery installed. Alan will run the cables Monday. I spoke with Corey about tuning and here is the deal. Tuesday and Wednesday this coming week we have a class scheduled with a representative from ProEFI. We will shut the doors and Tuesday is a class day. This is not a lesson in tuning but a class on where to find all the different features of ProEFI. Wednesday, Corey said my car will be on the rollers and we will do final tuning while further learning the software.

The extra battery in conjunction with the 250 amp alternator is to drive all of the fuel pumps. If by chance we continue to have hot start issues I'll be looking for a high torque starter and we will run bigger cable if necessary. Most of the starter issues are due to the heat the starter is subjected to.
