Post Where do you guys buy Parts?

I live close to Toronto and I am wondering where you guys buy your parts. Like catch can, exhausts, lights stuff like that. Thanks.

I am looking to get a few upgrades before winter hits, so yeah just need a good parts shop that i can either drive to or order online.

Thanks.

You can drive Overdrive Automotive. The prices are not bad for certain things, depending on what you're looking for.

That being said, I'm in the market for rotors myself and shopping around.

I get all my stuff from DaSilva Motorsports in Breslau Ontario, Manny is great to deal with and the shop is always full of C5/6 Vettes and Gen5 Camaros.. My 1LE is going in for a complete Cam Package at the ending of winter.

Be very careful with shipping from US to Canada, seems cheap up front until they get to the border, UPS is a common shipper but charges very large brokerage fees, you will always have to pay HST.

I found local guys can give you an up front price with no surprises and often include install at a price that will be cheaper in long run.

But if it is for simple items that you want you can order and have shipped to Niagara Falls Ny and pick up and pay HST at the border.

Tomorrow morning I am going to pick up a set of Hoosier Slicks 440 plus 19 for shipping. 45 min there and 45 back, hst at the border and all is good.

If you or any Canuck needs help PM me anytime.

Nice of NC members to comment in Canadian part of the forum.
But let me ask you 45th if you want to pay upto 45% on your order just because UPS wants to make us Canadians pay xxxxtra on US orders.

Great for the USA people to say these vendors are great, I agree great vendors and great prices and great service------ but once you cross the 45 parallel ie the border our costs change BIG time.

Dont forget we have to pay for that 1 billion dollar government debacle because of the gas plant closure and many other government FU's

Please dont come to the Canadian side and tell us where to order when you dont know what kind of whipping we get when our order crosses the border.

Just for a bit of a wake up call - when USA gas prices are $3.20 a gallon Canadians are paying $5+ per gallon for gas and thats the cheap stuff!

I sure promote buying Canadian when possible but everyone doesnt need to get abused and kicked in the ass by the govt monkeys.
