Ok here we go. Started on this tonight and got the wheels modeled out. The tires are just temp so far, so i will be making the pirelli's next with the tread and writing on the sidewalls. Also guys I expect you to call me out on anything that doesnt look right or looks out of place on the way, since I know all of you guys should know these cars very well Also to the guys not used to the 3d process, we usually sculpt out the model first in a neutral gray tone to define the shape, and then the colors and materials all come later on. (shinyness, metal, etc.)

I can't wait to see what you come up with. I'm a 3d structural designer but I work in more of an engineering field in order to fabricate the models we draw. Our drawings don't come out near as pretty so I'm gonna be glued to this thread to see what you create. Good luck and thanks for sharing

most of those are usually lower on the polygon count. I am sure he is really going all out and creating a very complex model.

Keep up the good work!

I use Max as well. The projects I work on are usually very time restricted and I'm just better/faster with Max at this point. Getting there with Maya but jumping between the two is hectic (different shortcuts, commands, navigation etc.)

Looks good, I'll keep an eye on this... thinking about doing the same myself.
