I want a new IROC :)
Yup, I went and did it. I didn't just call for a Gen 5 Z28 like everybody else. I want a 2010/11 IROC Z (I'll settle for an IROC SS).
I have always idolized the F-Body IROCs. Growing up, walking up my street coming back from school, I would always notice the house with the 2 Camaros that had IROC-Z emblazoned on the side. I didn't even know they were Camaros back then, they were just IROCs to me. I want an IROC |

I'm sure some people feel the same way about "rice badges" for an IROC as I do about the Z28. . .lol. no argument. . .just stating a fact.

There is no point to an Iroc Camaro now since that racing league is dead and gone.

I've never understood the affection for the IROC moniker
It just superceded the Z28 name, so it's a glorified Z28 with a dumb name. Not only did it merely take precedence badgingwise, it's not even a Camaro specific name. It left the Camaro for a Dodge Daytona for goodness sakes! Who wants that association? LOL I've never liked the IROC name, gimme Z28 or SS. |

Growing up in Norwood, OH where the IROCs rolled off the assembly line, knowing my dad had his hand in there shoving them thru......I love the IROC legacy.
