What happens when you wash the car? Do you plan on putting it all back together each time you do that, or will you just take your chances?
I thought I read someplace that another reason for the heat extractor was to reduce any lift from under the hood. Seems like this would help with that as well as allowing more heat to escape. Don't think I'll be taking mine apart tho :-)
