car accident
so this morning i was driving to work, just 100 yards from the office
i'm in the right hand lane (3 lane highway) ready for when i have to turn when i see a big suv stopped diagonally in the road directly next to a bus stop which apparently wasn't good enough for their little rest from driving and i slow down and start indicating waiting for a gap or a polite motorist (not likely in orlando) :P, to get into the middle lane to go around, a few moments later after crawling to a stop waiting to get in, a guy in the middle lane quickly swerved into my lane to overtake the slowing traffic from the cars moving over, probably 2 or 3 car lengths behind me and you can guess what happened next swerve, screech, BANG!!! my brand new rs convertible rearanged, having seen this the not at all mentally challenged people in the suv gawked out the window with a loud ay dios mio! decided it was probably best if they moved off after having caused an accident and drove off on there merry way >:/ messed up bumper, pushed in left rear wheel arch, crumpled left exhaust and a lot of paint work....MY BABY!!! :( |

I travel for work and every time I return home to Orlando I realize they have the worst drivers. Hope you got the plate number.

The guy who hit me stayed though he really didn't want to wait for the trooper but the people that stopped in the road causing the problems left as soon as it happened

Right there with you. Some texting teenager did about the same amount/kind of damage to my 6 day old 2SS vert on Sunday. Sorry to hear -- this is becoming an epidemic.

I feel your pain.
It worries me to even park my new 2012 Camaro 2LT/RS in a parking lot for lunch. If that happened to me, I'd beat the person up so badly! |

oh man that's tragic, my father had the 2ss vert for 3 days when someone dropped a rock on it we dropped that off at the body shop monday, hope the damage to yours wasn't much worse than mine i can't bare seeing mine this way |

Sorry to hear this.......I just got my Caddy out yesterday for about the same reason.....but just like you.....there is a bright side.....the damage wasn't SHEET METALto get repaired.....new rear facia, and maybe the exhaust....and you will be good as new.
