Can anyone recommend a good shop in the Ottawa area(other than dealership) that has done a gear swap on a 5th gen SS. Also looking for labour cost if someone has done the swap in this area.

Can't say if they have experience doing a 5th Gen rear end, but give Don Fournier a call and discuss what you want. They're good and he'll be straight with you.
