Steering wheel cover

Recently bought and installed a leather steering wheel cover for my 2017 LT. Material quality looks pretty nice and the fitment was correct. They also offer some customization options. Pretty happy with the purchase.

The store was stitchingcover, however the packing box was from MeWant, so they may be same.

That's pretty cool. I prefer this type of cover that you have to sew on, versus the kind that just slip over which look cheap imho. I've purchased similar for all my vehicles, but could not find one for the Camaro, probably due to the shape of the wheel.

How long did it take to receive and how difficult was the hand sewing? All the holes lined up?

I waited for arround 2-3 weeks. All the holes lined up pretty well and the hand sewing was not difficult at all, but it is time consuming, you'll need to reserve arround 4-5 hours if you have never sewed something before like me.

How much was it and how long did it take? Does it fit well? It seems like there are 2 flaps sticking up on the bottom backside of the wheel in your first picture.

I recently bought a 1LE and I'm not a fan of the steering wheel. I've been looking into buying the regular leather SS steering wheel, but I'd consider this if it fits well and is a lot cheaper.

Yes, you are supoussed to tuck all the flaps however in the lower backside i wasn't able to, i didn't fight trying because is not visible from the front, apart than that fitment was good.

Prices depend on materials and custiomization, mine was $79.

What color steering wheel cover did you order?
Is it the black or the gray?
Whatever color you ordered, it matches the interior perfectly.
I want to know before I order mine?
Thanks,

Thanks for the info! While my Camaro wheel is fine I need this for another car and didn’t want to have to replace the entire wheel just to refresh it (anything Mercedes AMG is $$$$ lol).

I ordered the black one. Black leather for top and lower section, black perforated leather for the sides, orange stitching (that matches the fifty accents) and yellow top marker.

Do the trim pieces/bezels on the wheel have to be removed to tuck the cover under? If so, do they just pop off easily?

The lower trim (That says fifty) was very easy to remove. Just pray with a plastic tool.

For the ones arround the steering control you may need to remove airbag. However I did not remove them, just lift a little bit with the same plastic praying tool and tucked inside.
