Camaro Questions
Few months ago could barely find one...now in my area there are plenty of SS Camaros. Makes it much easier to take a good look at picking one up.
Questions: 1) Is there a regular KEY for the Camaro or is it the key FOB like in the vette where no physical key has to be used? 2) Why no navigation option? 3) Is there a major difference in the L99 and the LS3? I like a manual, but auto makes more sense at this point. |

No factory option for dvd based nav, but all 2010 Camaros except for the LS come w/ turn by turn direction through Onstar for 1 year. LS gives you the safe & sound package, but you can always upgrade to turn by turn for a $100. 2011 models give you 6 months. Yes, there is a difference. L99 is a 6.2 liter V8 w/ 400 hp. LS3 is a 6.2 liter V8 w/ 426. HP aside if you enjoy driving a manual you will not like the automatic. Don't get me wrong, the auto has loads of power, but the M6 version gives you a greater degree of control over those horses. |

Thanks for the responses.
I'm guessing that invoice pricing is not happening too easily, and interest rates are standard for the moment with no incentives in sight. What rates are those getting with great credit ratings for 60 month loans? How close to bluebook trade value should I expect for my LS1 Camaro? How is the comfort for say a 3 hour highway road trip in the Camaro? I know my Gen 4 wasn't great when it came to road trips especially as it got on in miles and seemed to ride worse as time went on. Did anyone NOT love the Camaro until they test drove it? I'm just wondering why its not getting my attention the way the 3rd and 4th gens did...maybe I'm missing the test drive part. |

A couple of grand off MSRP seems to be the standard. I wouldn't pay any more.
720 score equaled a 6.94 72 mos gmac finance with 15000 down today for us. I can't be unhappy about it. Ran it under my wife since I took a few hits lately. I sold my vette outright in a couple of days and it was an $8000 difference in what my trade offer was. Craigslist always seems to work. Good luck! |
