I know, thats why im waiting a bit to get one. Justin at VMP said he is working on another TVS setup. The 2013 is a direct bolt on to the older GT500's and much more cheap.

2013 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Full Test 0-60 4.1 / quarter-mile 12.2 @ 121.1 mph

2013 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 Full Test 0-60 in 4.1 sec / quarter-mile 12.2 @ 121.1 mph

Edmunds Inside Line posted this article today. Click link to see entire article.

Now that the numbers are coming out what do you think?

.....We fiddled with different rpm levels to optimize/minimize wheel spin, our best run coming with a 4,100-rpm launch, netting 60 mph in 4.1 seconds (3.8 seconds with a 1-foot rollout like at a drag strip) and the quarter-mile in 12.2 seconds at 121.1 mph.

Oh damn. Back to the drawing board for team Camaro. SVT team avoided trash talk and simply let their GT500 do all the boitch slapping.

There's a few places in that video that makes me truly hope that this car is bought by the "right" minded enthusiast. This is a fast car.

Kick ass numbers. Time for Dodge and Chevrolet to respond.

I bet these will be F-U-N to insure.

That's, pretty impressive. I absolutely love the styling of the 2013 GT500. Gorgeous car.
It's a great time for some "pony car" wars!!

I understand why my brother admires the 2013 mustang.
On the site, he built the base MSRP = $54,200
Package 821A = $3,495
SVT Track Pack = $2,995
Destination Charge = $795
Net Total = $61,485
