How is the rear bowtie attached?

Sorry if this has been covered before, I did a quick search, but didn't find anything. How is the rear bowtie attached?

I plan on blacking out the rear decklid and I seem to recall there being two holes for posts that are on the back of the bowtie. So does that mean the bowtie is fastened with washers and nuts or are the posts there for stability and it's just fastened with double-sided tape? Anyone know?

It has been covered. Try doing a search. If that does not work for you. Let me know and I will do the leg work for you.

The holes are for guides on the emblem. It is attached with double sided tape.

Thank you for the quick and easy answer I was looking for! That's what I figured, but I just wanted to make sure.
