Like the title says...since GM is claiming the problem is very isolated, we are trying to show them that it's not. If you're having clutch problems, please sign the thread. If not, or you think those who are are just a bunch of bad drivers, please keep your comments to yourself or make them in my original thread on the topic rather than this petition. We're trying to just get a list of names and VINs rather than start up a debate in this thread.

Moderators, I would be grateful if you would leave this thread in the main forum for a little while. The warranty/issues forum doesn't get nearly the traffic this one does and several people commented on my thread yesterday who had never seen it in the warranty forum.

I've had these issues happen. Gear grinding even when pedal depressed sufficiently. Not wanting to go into second gear even when not skip shifting. Also when it does it's harder than normal to put into second gear. Lastly a few days ago after taking off from first and having RPMs up to about 5000 when I put the car in second gear rapidly the car shut down completely while I was moving! Been driving stick for 18 years! If I remember my Vin is 17393 or around that.

Please guys, I know there were more of you saying you had similar issues who haven't signed the petition thread yet. GM won't help if they think it's only a couple of cars. Thanks!

I think three threads on the same problem are enough. Revise one of your prior, and perhaps include a poll. Additionally, there is already a poll in the Problems Section.
