2015 RS Headlight issue

Kinda lost not sure to replace the head light bulb or ?

When I turn the headlights on both head lights come on after a few minutes the drivers side turns off. Turn them off and on and it comes on again but after a few minutes it goes off again.

Try swapping them. If the drivers side continues, then it might be the ballast. If the passenger goes out, must be the bulb.

Switched the bulbs still goes out after a few minutes least it’s on the passenger side now easier to replace now. Had to take the cold air intake out to get to the drivers side bulb out pain in the butt.

Now what to buy lol the bulbs aren’t cheap.

No they typically aren't lol. I just purchased some headlights like yours. And will be going with diode dynamics as they seem to have a good rep on here. I don't have any experience with HID though or that brand. So cant give personal opinion. But they around 100 for a pair I think. So can change both and save your good one for a replacement

Just went ahead and bought a bulb from the auto parts store. Looked around for options like amazon but looked at the reviews and decided it wasn’t worth getting a ticket over.

You can get OEM bulbs from Amazon, $75 CAD (so probably $50 USD...). I think the bulb is a 35 watt, D3S, 4300k bulb, but I can confirm when I get home as I bought a pair off Amazon a year or so ago with no issues. I asked my dealer for a price and they said $300 + tax for one bulb lololol

Not sure how long I was having with the one bulb guy at work noticed it but I replaced the bulb and all’s good again. On researching if one goes out the others not to far behind I’ll look and Amazon again for future use.
