I was trying to do the same thing with my car. I have the shitty 2LS with the 2.92 gears and want to swap for the ss auto rear diff. I've been told by some people that only the second part of the ss driveshaft is needed. the axels and hubs of the v6 can stay. but here I'm reading that the whole driveshaft from the 2LS fits perfect into the ss diff but the axels need to change. what is the real answer does anyone know??
