So yes technically he was but transactions are not official until 4pm on the Tuesday following the transaction.

Thats why you haven`t heard of a team approaching him yet as they could be charged with tampering.

Its just the way the NFL handles its transactions to avoid a player being released Friday and suiting up for a new team on Sunday.

I know its not possible right now but come August its a possibility.

The big news today is that QB1 Josh Allen is on this years Madden cover.

I think its well deserved

Congrats to Josh.

I heard rumors of this last week but wanted to wait until it was official.

Allen is a good-great QB. But for madden, I probably would have picked Burrow this year.

Burrow is behind Hebert in all time passing yards.

The thing you need to remember is that Josh's first year was basically a throwaway there was absolutely no talent on offence as they had traded everybody that was worth anything for draft capital.

Year 2 he made the playoffs and he hasn't missed them since.

Going 4 times with 3 division titles and twice going 13-3

Career 4th quarter comebacks 11 (mahomes has 13)

Patrick Mahomes landed on a perennial playoff team that was loaded with talent and basically redshirted behind a former #1 overall pick (Alex Smith)

Not bad for a guy most of the so called experts said would fail at the NFL level

The only guy that got it right was Mel Kiper he said JA17 was the best QB in that draft and a future star

It was just a meme. But with Madden, more often than not, they go by previous year. I think Burrow had a little better season.
