Changing pulleys on striker vs stock

With the stock ls3 and whipple, when you changed pulleys, next size down was about 2psi, according to whipple website. Does that still hold true for stroked applications? I'd like to pulley down about since I'm only at 6psi now that's I'm stroked. Was 11 before. I'd like to try around 15 psi, but don't know how to know which pulley I need without buying a bunch and trying. Thanks!!

If I recall correctly, Whipple states that for every 1/8" drop (.125") in pulley diameter, it will increase boost approximately 2 psi. I believe those numbers are irrespective of engine size. So, if you are still running the 4" stock Whipple pulley for the LS3, and are at 6 psi, then dropping to a 3.5" would put you around the 15-16 psi mark.

I called whipple and they said each 1/8 is 1 psi. I'm currently at 6psi on 3.75 pulley so if I go with a 3" I'll at 12 lbs, which is probably more then a 6 rib can handle.

Your probably lower compression now too. Which would likely contribute to the drop in body too along with the bigger cubes.
