Just bought GM rock guards but afraid they might not be right

I just bought the GM rock guards (part number 23114083) for my '15 1LE.

The front guards don't look very long. They measure just shy of 15". They only go about 1/2 way up the wheel opening.

Are these the ZL1 rock guards?
Because I thought the ZL1 guards went almost to the top of the wheel opening.

Did I get the wrong guards?
If so, what is the correct part number for the ZL1 guards.

Also, in the instruction packet, they list an option A and option B for the rear splash guards.
Does anyone know the difference between option A and option B?

23114083 is the 4 piece set I bought and installed on my car.

Sorry, it's been awhile and I don't recall the A/B option in the instructions.

Pics, sideways sadly, of front and rear installed for you.

You have the correct splash guards, installed a set on my '15 1LE a month ago, you'll like the finished product.

Supposed to remove 2 existing inner wheel well splash guard screws, line up the holes of the guard with the holes in the splash guard, clip in the guards (guards have built in clips that go between fender lip & splash guard), then drill a hole thru the fender lip in order to install the upper screw for the guard.

(No way in HELL will I be drilling a hole into my fender lip. Will just use stick tape)

Is there an aftermarket set that goes further up the wheel opening?

Hi Kurt,
What's the length & width of your front rock guards?
And do they require drilling?

Off the to of my head I'm not sure but can check when I get in the shop. I can tell you they are taller and wider the the factory set up. The rear is the same height as it goes to the body line but the front is taller. Both are wider by about 1/2"---5/8". The Rear requires one small hole drilled into the plastic fender liner and the front has a single self tap screw that goes in the edge on the fender. You could skip that one and use 3m tape if you wanted

Off topic, but noticed you have BF Goodrich tires mounted. Are they stock sizes? And how do you like them? Mike

For me, the BFG g-force Comp-2 A/S's are a winter time only compromise tire for driving in cold temps and not losing all of the fun of my 1LE. If it wasn't so cold here in winter in early morning and other hours when I drive, I would have different tires.

They basically do everything OK and nothing very well.

I use them mid November to early April. They'll be off in a week or so.

285's all around.
