What is this piece called near the steering column?

I'd like to know what this empty area is called because I want to put like a flag/sticker or emblem in that area. I've seen it before on the forums but don't know what that dumb empty spot is called.

Thats where the HUD controls go on the 2LT & 2SS models, you want to check out Emblempros site they sell dash plaques that go there.

I second this and all the other great reviews you see on here.

There is a reason people talk about them like they do...they do excellent work.

Just do the DIY and install the HUD yourself and/or find someone to assist you in doing so, that way you can fill that blank space with the HUD control piecethat should go there.

When I got my SS I was referred to a company that makes custom nameplates that fit in that space. Since the 2010's don't have HUD I bought the nameplate that was custom cut to fit in the space.

What do you think of the nameplate?

Thanks, I was afraid someone was going to ask me where I had this made and I didn't remember. Thanks for posting where to buy it.
