How to place an order for a 2013 Camaro - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey guys, I am looking to buy a 2013 Camaro 1LT. All the dealerships around me don't have any 2013 Camaro's in orange yet, which is the color I really want, so I was wondering when the earliest I would be able to order a Camaro is. I know that I probably won't be able to order a 2013 from the Chevy website until mostly all 2012's are gone, so for another month or two, but I was wondering if there would be a faster way to order a 2013 model. Like possibly asking a dealer or a different website?

So do any of you have suggestions for me to try to order a 2013 model sooner than when I can do it on the Chevy website?

Go talk to your dealer and tell them you want to order one - they'll go through the options with you and then put the order in with GM. It's as simple as that!

I was able to place my order for a 13 as soon as the pricing came out. I found pricing on July 2nd and called the dealer. They then proceeded to check and said yes I could put the order together and actually place it. So I wish you all the luck getting what you want

Did you get a date on when you will actually get the camaro?

I went in and test drove a 2012. I told them I was interested in a 2013 for the mylink and npp exhaust. I also informed them I was aware that you could place orders for a 2013 if you wanted to and they let me place my order. That was last week on the 23rd and here I am today with a 2500 status waiting.
