i'am caught between the viper and ams the one with the 6 large vents. Can u post a pics of the viper hood so i could see how the air would flow.

The group buy 10 peeps are needed if more sign uo will the hoods be cheaper?

Concerning deposits 200 bucks do we make the payment once we sign up or when we have 10 already lined up and then the deposit is collected.

In other words is are deposit going to be locked up untill we reach 10 and then the order starts?

I do not have any more pics of the Viper hood than what's posted, but I know some people on the forum have that hood, so you may be able to find them through the search. With respect to the $200 deposit, the deposit gets you the spot, and your latter point is accurate. The deposit is held until we get to 10 people, and after that, everyone will be provided an invoice to pay the remainder and all of the shippments will go out immediately. They delivered within 5 business days last time to as far as the east coast (from So Cal). Most people locally got them within 2 business days.

There are a few main reasons for the deposit. During the last group buy, people confirmed they were in and when it came time to pay, some didn't respond and some said they were out. This caused the people who were serious about the purchase to need to wait longer until I was able to sort things out or open up more spots. Hence, it helps to protect the serious buyers and ensure a smooth group buy process (not to mention for the vendor to purchase/make sure they have the proper inventory when it comes time to ship all of these).

And lastly, if we do go up to 10 quickly, I can check with the vendor to see if the price would be cheaper on 15, but I'm not sure if I would count on that. I wouldn't want to prolong the group buy too much.
