Ordered my 2LT RS from Champion Chevrolet today in Lagrange, Ky, few miles outside of Louisville. Not a penny over MSRP. Also suggested that I allow them to pre-sale my trade-in (Pontiac G8 GT) while I wait so I don't loose value by the time it gets here. Rita Dean was the internet Sales person, and she and everyone was terrific to work with. Everyone else in the area wanted from $1500 to $8500 over sticker.

So, this was the only the initial order and I'll see if they can deliver, but today was great. How do you guys stand the waiting?

What I want to know is:

If we know that the Dealer gets the car for $30,588.45 for a 2SS, with a RS Package for $960 and a sunroof for $720 for a grand total of $32,268.45... why can't we find more dealers willing to work with the buyers??? They are making almost $5K on my car!

I also do not know why the dealers are not willing to do special pricing for us military guys!

I ordered my 2LT/RS on February 24 and took delivery on June24th. Not bad at all. These guys are great to work with and stuck to the MSRP price. I highly recommend any central Ohioians check them out.

This is my first post on camaro5, but longtime reader.

Just ordered a 1SS/RS with the military discount and USAA discount from:

Jim McKay Chevrolet
Fairfax, Va
Ask for Craig Caldwell: (703) 591-4800

If you are ineligible for those discounts they are selling the car for MSRP. They were very friendly and were willing to give me both discounts while other dealers in the area have markups of $3000 or more.
