Throttle bodies - ported and beyond?

Just had a couple quick questions.
Stock LS3 TB is how many mm?
VMAX ported TB is how much larger than stock?
At what mm is a tune required? At which point is it best to save it for Dyno tune day?
What is the HP gain difference between a VMAX and a 100mm + TB?
What besides a tune if any are the required accessory mods to a TB larger than 100mm?

We'll that turned out to be more than a couple thanks guys

Lol
They have a nice swirl on them though, these don't add hp BUT throttle response is better.

Thanks. So VMAX is just a directed airflow not a size increase?

Any point in any build to going to a 102mm? I'm spitballing here but, supercharged or high hp NA?

Just trying to figure out how crucial it is in any build.

Thanks again, its been 2 years since I last had my SS, so I'm just trying to plan ahead for when I can get back into it.

It's not really directed, just smoothed out. No real power gain, but a crisper throttle response. As for the 102mm, if your trying to squeeze every last hp out of a NA build maybe. On boost it is marginal since the air is being blown in. IMO you would be better off porting the manifold to smooth out the air there. I wouldn't consider this a "needed" part. I've had a LS3 at 750whp without it and will go over 800whp this time. Maybe if your building really big it would help? Like 1k+! I've never built one that big so I can't really say

Your 90mm TB and Ls3 manifold should be ok for heads and cam.

Stock TB was "oversized" by GM Engineering & easily supports up to 650HP.....do your research.
