Exclamation Blower Fan squeaking when AC is oN?!?!

Hey guys.... anyone experiencing this too.... any quick fix advice?

its just an annoying high pitched chirp coming from the centre/right of the dash when the ac is on....

dont run your ac keep windows down problum fixed

Haven't had that issue in the Camaro, but in my SUV I had weird noises from the blower fan, and when I brought it in to get looked at, they found a mouse nest in there.... Maybe you have a critter....

I would agree with Ladybugsmom. Your dealer should be more than capable to take care of this if there is an issue with it or make the simple fix in case nothing needs to be replaced. I hope it's nothing serious and you are back on the road in no time. If you do take the vehicle in let us know how it goes for you.

Its probably a bad bearing or sleeve in the fan motor. I went through 3 of them on a 99 Mustang. They would start making a chirping sound after a whiile. It should be a simple dealer fix as suggested.

had same issue...dealer replaced the fan motor I think..

had the exact same issue dealer replaced the fan. took about a day to get the part and two hours to put in...

my wife had hers replaced in her camaro and everytime i go to take mine in the noise stops,it does get annoying at times

You should know to look for mice first - you're the one that found the nest in the SUV!!! BTW, nice to see you posting.... Tell the wife I said Hi! I saw her the other day, but knew she wouldn't recognize me driving the SUV....

it was a bearing in the blower motor... all fixed, under warranty
