2000 camaro z28 ss

I just found a camaro z28 ss with 35,000 miles for a little over $15,000 with a small local dealership. I was wondering if its a good deal. I'd be purchasing on my own and would need financing . my first car my dad helped me with and I co signed everything. My credit is in the 600s what should I expect?

NADA has a value of $7349.

Not sure if it's worth that much for a 16 year old car. It is extremely low miles. Full restoration or just low mileage original?

Do some internet research and see what they are selling for. NADA doesn't calculate collector cars. You can also try specialty insurers for value.

If it were a 2002 Anniversary car then yes.

BTW its either a Z28 or an SS.

Look for code WU8 on the door jamb option sticker for a real SS.

Lots of cheaper options with more value out there.

I would want a 2002 35th Camaro or a CE TA for that money.

You could get a 1999 or 2000 Vette for that money

Post some pics of the car here so we can make a better assessment. I highly doubt that financial institutions would put out that kind of money for this car for your loan.

Its hard to tell what kind of shape the car is from the pics, but it looks like its in good condition. Look up the listed market value for the year and mileage and go from there. It will be tough finding a good 4th gen on the market; Most I've seen for sale have a good amount of abuse on them. Good luck.

I seen a few low mile 1999-2002 Camaro SS on sale now for a ridiculous price. There is one here in San Antonio with 22K miles asking 19K... unless that is the car you are looking for it is not worth the price.
