Are you running stock front tires or 17" skinnies, if skinnies pulling through the box is ok, if stock tires you could be carrying water from the fronts and wetting the track some and your rears are picking it up on your launch.

I just recently got a 2015 RS. Only mod i can see is exhaust, because pipes are all mandrel bends. Not sure GM did that. And it's loud for an LFX V6.

I'm going to be taking it to the track Friday. I live in Tucson where it's over 100* everyday, and running Good Year Eagle Sport tires on 20" rims. My question: Should I still look to do a burn out, or due to the heat will tires and track be sticky enough?

*Last time I was at a track, I was racing a 2004 Grand Prix in Seattle.

If you aren't on drag radials go around the water box and just chirp the tires to clean them off.

Also, my issue was that my tires were bad already. Replaced them and I'm at 1.5x 60s.

This engine (LFX) throws me off. I'm totally out of my game on this car. Can't put headers on it, can't upgrade intake manifold. Not much out there for it. I can get CAI, throttle body upgrade. Nobody makes a procharger for it, can't upgrade ignition coils even.
