New to site -6th Gen question
Not sure if I posted in the correct thread...
I'm new to the site. The first car I bought was a 1980 Camaro. My wife and I are just beginning to look at Camaros. We've looked at and driven a few 2015's with the V6. I drove a 2017 with the V6. I realize the 16's and 17's have approximately 12 more horse power but is it my imagination that the 17 just appeared to be more responsive??? |

16+ are totally different car than 15 and below. They are lighter, faster, 20+% stiffer chassis/platform from Cadillac ATS/CTS, handles much better. "World-class" chassis they say...
That's probably the responsiveness that you're feeling, mostly. It's no longer just a muscle car, it's a true sport car with muscle... even "Supercar" level if you go for the big dog, ZL1 1LE. |

The performance is there, though I'd have trouble classifying it as a supercar. Certainly doesn't fit the luxury & pricetag aspect of a supercar. But in the end who cares.

Context is your friend. He's talking about the responsiveness/performance of the zl1/1le being on supercar level.

I agree with Batman. The ZL1's performance is at supercar level. Haters can hate, but it is what it is.
Pi aren't you the one who on another thread was worried that some driver might lose his job for rear ending a forum member's Camaro. I think both your judgement and your priorities are more than a little off. The smart alec comments like telling people to use their finger to help them read won't win you any friends anyway, though I expect you don't care as you appear to be trolling. Why not go back to the Prius forum where you belong. |
