How much did the 6 piston brake upgrade cost total?

Cheaper to buy and piece together, or just go with complete kit?

I just ordered everything for the ZO6/ZL1 brake mod (calipers came in last week) thru Amazon. It came to about $1650. That was ZO6 calipers, ZL1 2-piece rotors, Goodridge hose kit (front & rear), caliper hardware, & ZL1 pads.

cdb95z28 didn't mean to jump on your thread love your build and your car. Mine is your's twin and I'm doing many of the same mods you are.

Hopefully I will see you at Pitt some day. My nephew races a WRX there and is trying to get me to come out for a track day.

I had about $1650 including tax and shipping too. I think it's cheaper if you research and buy individually as long as S&H doesn't bite ya.
2 Piece ZL1 Rotors, ZO6 calipers, ZL1 front pads, Goodridge lines, caliper hardware.
Add ~ $600 for my race pads, Raybestos ST43 front and back.

Yes a 2015 SIM 1SS/1LE



These are the street tires and wheels. I swap the stock tires and wheels on for the track.

I have been running HPDE at NJMP, its about 20 miles from me.

I hope to make it to Pitt around the end of summer or early fall. What organization do you run with?

I have run with both Chin and NASA. I like Chin better, more track time.

Craig, I apologize for missing your last post. I do the SCCA Track Night in America. Have you made it ti Pitt Race yet?

Your 1LE looks great with those wheels. Until last month, I was always running on the Goodyears too. But I;m on 19" Forgelines with Bridgestone RE-71r's. AS good as the Goodyears are on the track, the RE-71Rs are alot better and have a stiffer sidewall.

For the track I'm running Forgeline GA1R wheels in 19x11 front. 19x11.5 rear and Bridgestone RE-71R 305/30 tires all around. Still on Z/28 suspension but running my OE 1LE rear anti-roll bar. Lovin' where the car is. I will give a more detailed update soon!!

How do you like the ST43 pads front and rear for the track? Do you ever experience any rear brake lock up? Does the brake bias feel correct?

I love the ST43's, I have never experienced rear lock up, and yes the bias is correct. Some other Gen6 1LE guys are using them to, glamcem for example.
They wear great, but make alot of noise when used on the street. I have about 5000 street miles on them, have had them on since last September. Normal brake dust too. I don't mind either the brake dust or the squeal.

And here is a run that I ran 4 consecutive laps at 1:06, all with in a tenth of a second. The 4 lap run starts after a 1:08 lap.
