I will keep it until I either no longer want it, or until I am no longer able to keep it. That could be a few months, or a few decades....only time will tell.

Everyone says forever but I would like to see how many actually do.

We got ours as part of our Camaro collection which includes:

1967 Coupe, Butternut yellow with black vinyl top, 327 with a powerglide. This is/was all orginal somewhat of a survivor (40+ years in Ohio, how good can a car "survive"). We are in the mist of tearing it down and rebuilding it.

1989 IROC~Z28, all orginal 350, Bright blue metallic, ttop/sticker delete car. It was ordered new by my father in June 1989.

2010 SS/RS - SIM with black hood/hockey strips.

All of these cars we intend to keep and add at least 2 more to the list. My wife and I want a red SS 4th gen and have not decided on a 2nd yet. Since the 2nd gen will likely be another project, we need to finish the 67 and touch up the 89 before starting another one.

We had to take a hiatus from the 67... moved, married... life. We should be back at it soon.

But to answer the OPs question... FOREVER. It will get handed down along with the 67, 89 and whatever else we amass by then.

Well the longest I ever had a car was like 2.5 years.... that said the fact I have 7 yrs/100k of warranty on this car makes it wayyy more likely that I will keep it around. I don't forsee when I will really sell it and its at least possible I will keep it forever. I guess we will see.

Depends on what the Z28 has and how much it cost. My car being such a low vin would be hard to give up. But if the Z rocks then it could be done if the money and payments are right.

Great question.... Not sure. It depends on the future and maybe the future Z or upcoming model year Camaros. I could be enticed to move it for more HP from the factory.

I've said with the last couple rides I'd keep them forever but I find something else I like/want more so I don't know.

I want to think this will be a lifer and ultimately get another daily driver and then have this for weekends. But as of now, this is my daily driver!

Time will tell...

I'll definitely have mine for life. In a few years when I can afford it I'll probably get a used Silverado so I don't have to drive the Camaro everyday and just keep her as a weekend car
