Not too sure on number 007, at least when I was there he only had 008. Car looks amazing, once I can get my P0301 figured out should be one amazing car!

What have you tried?
Swap coils and see if it follows coil, try same with plug wires. Look for cracked plug in #1 or just put new OEM plugs in all 8.
I had that and it was a cracked plug. I just replaced all 8 and never had an issue since. But I did put new plug wires in as well.

There’s a wealth of knowledge of forum members that may chime in as well.

All new plugs, plug wires and a new coil on bank 1 and it still giving me the code and service stabilitrac warning. I ran into this often in my twin turbo 1le but most of the time it was on cylinder 4 and the ceramic boot would come loose. However, this code never pops up during start up or idling only when the car is moving everything comes on.


The original owner did say he had a speed sensor code awhile back but I have yet to see that on my scan gauge. I have done as much as I can without checking the injector or the actual harness. I have it into a trusted mechanic today as we are leaving for the camaro rally tomorrow morning. I hope its a simple fix.

Well I didn't have time to post before we left for camaro rally last Thursday, Wednesday night I found our misfire issue....New spring should be here tomorrow. Lets hope everything is good!

He honestly had no idea, wasn't making valve train noise till Wednesday. Could have been a crack in the spring and not sealing the valve throwing the code until it broke completely, but who knows. He offered to pay for the repair but should be easy enough to fix in the garage. Thanks again for the name change!
