I have to admit that when I first heard the very exaggerated news of the V8 not coming out until 2014, I thought about test driving a 370Z. Now I feel dirty. Like I need to go take a shower type of dirty...

I am not upset about a 30 day reset. I am not the least bit surprised that dealers are going to get a showroom model before all the v8's are made.

NO where has GM called this a muscle car. This car was built to compete with imports that are not V8'S. That all was in place well before the events of this fall. GM's survival is directly related to how well this car competes with Honda, Toyota and some from the other ocean.

Too many clods on here with me! me !me !. Think a few years ahead, without those 6's there may be no CAMARO ..so where do you get affordable replacement/service parts?

I totally disagree with a comment made 15 pages back. "Demand does not dictate supply"
You will I believe actually see that supply will dictate demand.

Those 30 % of dealers who did not place preorders should be shipped all v6 only until the back orders from the preorders are filled.

The IDL was done by some rank amateurs....TO BAD all this bad press on the eve of THE auto show.

I am buying this car because I will replace a Honda Coupe . Finally Chevy will make a car with a stick with some style. (This is not a 99 Grand AM .. WE BUILD EXCITEMENT!)
If everyone wants GM to prosper you better hope more like me want to replace a Honda.The brand will not survive with the only the support of the " V8 enthusiasts"

The Camaro team feels that we need to sweat every detail on this car so that you will be completely satisfied at delivery - but MORE importantly -- you'll still have that grin on your face years after delivery.
