Agreed. Especially since it comes with Magnetic ride, Recaros and NPP.

Agreed! Dont forget the 6 piston brembos. Thats a 4k upgrade alone. It my be even more than a 10k package

The 6 piston upgrade is $3175 but that is because they are shipping an extra set of brakes to be installed by the dealer. You will then get the 4 piston cores. The 4 piston upgrade on the 4cyl and V6 models is $2175 so there really is only a difference in price of $1000 which is what I would expect if this was a factory installed option. It could be a lot less than that since those are MSRP prices and I have seen 6 piston kits for around $700-900 from non GM sources. Resellers are still making a profit on those kits so the actual cost to GM is a fraction of that $3175 price.

Because there is quite a lot of markup on these parts there will be a lot of wiggle room for GM to offer the 1LE package at an attractive price. I am not saying it will be cheap by any means but I think it will be really good considering all of the performance options included in it.

I doubt it, because this will then encroach into ZL1 price point territory. Unless of course....ouch.

I somehow doubt that will happen.

Then again, the surprising resilient ponzi scheme of inflation, stagnated wages, and free credit, never cease to amaze me, so nothing will surprise me no mo.

Seems like a more complete package ( brakes, cooling etc) than the 5th gen version which was kind of thrown together.

Gotta disagree on that one- those engineers worked long and hard to re inroduce a very unique RPO and the value for that 3500 is second to none.

Looking forward to seeing where this, the ZL-1 and Z28 wind up as far as sticker prices go.
