Someone here posted the order time for 2011 cars as Apr 6th so if it follows it might only be next year to order 2012 convertibles. I would like to be wrong, sooner would be better

That is a great idea! I don't know if Chevy will do it, but it would make the car look great with the top up or down.

2011 or 2012 for convertible

Is the convertible going to be a 2011 model or 2012?

keyhole should be in the bowtie and the 3rd brake light in the rear spoiler!

Car looks great as a ragtop! They will never make it a hardtop due to weight issues. I Love it they even leaked it in the right color! All that other stuff will be fixed in the mix (keyhole, brake light, wart).

yes... the key hole should have been a hide away like in the old 84-92 caprice impalas hidden inside the chevy emblem

I like these 2012 Camaro photos better. These two are the best I've seen soo far.

Why do you guys think there has to be a key cylinder in the decklid?

The only reason the Corvette has a key cylinder is because of the electric door latches. If the battery fails, you have to have a way to get in the car. On the Corvette and XLR that was a key cyclinder above the plate. Once the decklid is opened a mechanical cable can be pulled to open front side doors. I know this because my guys released those parts.

On most cars today, there are no key cylinders in the trunk. They are either electric unlatching or simply opened with the key fob and a button inside the car.

Not saying there will or won't be, just that there doesn't have to be.

Looks great except that useless stupid keyhole on the trunk & the super small exhaust tips.

those are photos of the convertible version of the concept (note the door handles and smaller door mirrors).
