It's a 7 year old post. The OP hasn't posted anything since 2015 so you probably won't get an answer. It looks like he sold the car and doesn't post here anymore. Maybe someone else has had the issue and will chime in.

So if I unlock it with the actual key (not with the fob button), it will trigger the alarm? I did not know that.

I will try it later after work.

Only if you locked it with the FOB.
Turn on the ignition to turn off the alarm.
You will not see the 'Theft Attempted' message.
