Maybe it's just my computer, but the link does not work....says bandwidth exceeded.
I'd sure love to see the Z28 come out, but think that even if it does, there won't be any way I could afford it. Sux....but at least it would be out there for the more wealthy folks. |

OH NO, not the Z28 again...j/k
Listen, all they do is throw a modded LSA in the Camaro, tweak the suspension, add ground effects, and Z28 is a reality. They already did it. If the market will accept it, at a later date, they will resurrect it. The focus is on not going out of business right now. The VOLT is getting most of the development money now. ^ EDIT: link no worky here either.

You guys dont want to see a 450hp factory twin turbo v6? That would prove to be quite the animal... Using larger turbo's for efficiency they could use the new twin scroll and ball bearings for quick spool, then run like 6psi from the factory.. Thats assuming they dont touch the internals of the 3.6L v6... However if they bumped up the displacement to lets say 4L, all said above and ran oh 10psi... hehe.. They could claim 500hp easy, Tuners on the other hand could raise the boost to whatever the stock block can hold... can you hear 600-650hp? WITH A SIMPLE TUNE!!!?? Intercooler upgrade and intake and exhaust maybe necessary for that but still, maybe even injectors..
Ya, thats not going to happen though, too many of the Z28 fans want the LS7 engine. and it would be the perfect and easy answer in all books. |

I know I'll be "tuned in"... though it was never off the table, its still good to hear something from anywhere about it. I cant wait to see what's in store for the future of Camaro.

Can't see the vid from work. does anyone can tell us what is said in that vid? Thx a lot.
I'm dying to get a 550+hp Z28 ... looking like Xrated's concept ... C'mon Mister Chevy ... you won't save your company by selling "Kia-like" chevys ... bring up the power and noise. Badassery is the way to redemption.

If he's right and "everyone's" second question about the Camaro is "when is the Z28 coming out", then Chevy can't ignore the fact that people want an ultra high performnace Camaro. I'll be in line for one once the SS is paid down.

V6 Z would be AWFUL! no way in hell will they do that. There is no way there will be any kind of announcement in the next 6 months. not with GM begging for money from congress. how would it look if they unveiled a 550hp gas guzzling car..
good video anyway. give me a little more hope. |

GM Has always said to this point, "Not now for the Z28" They've never said never and they've never said when....
The good news from all of this is they've never said never.... So maybe? Someday? If you need more information click the Fbodfather quote in my signature.
