The video clip is years old also so hoping when Holden gives the Ute a makeover for 2014 release it is an import. They are still producing the version from the video today. There is also talk about this and bringing the made over G8 back in the US as the Chevy Caprice. Only time will tell. Back when the GTO made its introduction the foreign exchange rate was .74 Aussy to the US dollar. Things have changed and the Australian dollar is now stronger and almost equal to the US dollar. As the US dollar falls the probability of seeing these Holdens as Chevys becomes more remote. Thanks for sharing the photos of the red Ute.

Dodge made the Magnum, stuff the 7.0 liter in it and throw a topper on it and you have a 2 seat Magnum!!

Not a huge fan. I don't see much market for it here in the US. Not to say that they couldn't sell a few thousand of them, I see them more as a novelty for US buyers.

The GTO was mishandled by GM. The car itself was wonderful! 145,000 miles of experience, 6.0 6 speed, Lingenfelter CAI, H Pipe and Hurst Shifter. Awesome car.

Put a Camaro front end on it with an LS3 or Turbo V6 and call it the El Camaro!

I like my 1985 El Camino better. Not fond of that front end.

Caprice is already in the US.

2014 VF Commodore may make it stateside.

VF Ute is still up in the air.
