I think a lot of that is simply what the manufacturers know and knew all along. The ‘new model’ or next NEW thing has an incredible lure. Many are willing to overlook the shortcomings for the shine and smell of a new one. Then, throw in an extra 55HP (or so) and you got some real gut bait. But reality becomes MF-er!

New Camaros are rare around here but I saw two today. A white SS convertible on the highway and a yellowish green (Shock Yellow perhaps) something. Based on the sound it could not have been an SS, but it didn't sound like a 6 either. That one had the 30-day tag and we gave each other a thumbs-up at the light.

If I weren't planning a new home purchase, I might be one of them with the sweet '19 SS in Shock.

Saw one in person, not a fan.
