2010 SS engine trouble, need help asap

Ok, so here is my deal. Have had my 2010 SS for a few months now, and had 2011 SS convertible before that that i worked on a lot myself. So, the car has been running great for about 3 months, about 2 weeks ago i start hearing a ticking noise coming from the engine bay, i try to listen in on it, and after researching around on here for a while, i just assume that it is normal lifter or injector ticking. Over the course of about 2 weeks, the noise gradually gets a little louder, nothing extreme, and doesnt sound like a metal on metal banging. I stop at a local walmart a couple days ago, come back out and the car will start but is missing like crazy, to the point the engine is rocking around in the engine bay. I try to let it run for maybe 30 seconds, then decide to shut it off to avoid any major damage to the engine. The car has had a recent oil change, and levels have been checked daily since i bought it. I have not been able to pull the trouble codes from it yet, and when it first happened the service engine light did not even come on. The noise i mentioned before sounded as tho it were coming from the front cylinders or the timing chain area of the motor. If anyone has any ideas at all on what may be the problem, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Two things that are problematic you might want to check out. If it's an automatic the timing chain tensioner can cause what you're describing. The other thing quite common is rocker failures.

You mentioned pulling codes. Did you get a CEL light?

Still haven't made any progress as of yet, was supposed to get it scanned today by a friend, but they were not able to make it. Will keep updating and checking as often as i can. I really appreciate all the help from everyone. I usually do ok with diagnosis myself, but have never had a vehicle act anything like this with so few signs beforehand.

It’s not mobile, will not even idle or anything. It will turn over and crank, even start, but it’s missing so bad that it has zero power at all. It’s to really explain the noise, but it will basically stop completely when you put it in gear. I haven’t started it again since it did it the first time. I had it towed home immediately, was pretty worried it may end up causing some serious damage to the engine.

While you're waiting for your friend to scan it, you could hit any auto parts store for a compression tester. They are cheap and this is a quick check you can do yourself. Doesn't give a complete picture but does let you check for some causes of serious concern. Tester just uses the spark plug location and you crank it with the fuel pump relay removed so you're not flooding the cylinders.

Did this happen during or after rain by any chance?

I know I'm probably going to be the only one to suggest this, but I say FUEL PUMP. I bet you're going to get a fuel pump control module secondary circuit code once you get around to pulling the codes.
