I actually like the gap, yea something might get stuck in it, but its kind of a neat concept of how the airflow works.

ZL1 Addons can make one for your car.
We will have 2 types, long and standard version. with SS or aluminum spacers.

What would you do with the grill on your car? I guess if you drive off road in the brush, it would be the same, stuff will get stuck in it also!! get stuck easier in a grill. That section will be adjustable to have more angle of attack to get a bit more down force some what like a wing.
Every one out there so far likes the spacers.

The design we did will make it so the center part of the OEM splitter that now has a positive angle of attack and makes up force and not down force. The center of our extension will be able to adjust to make a negative angle of attack to get down force. We will have BLACK Stainless Steel and Aluminum spacers to choose from. As you see it now the extension is a neutral angle of attack.

YES!! that was the part of the project that every one likes!! If we kept to the angle of the OEM center section it would make up lift.

Sorry, I meant from the 5th gen ZL1. I'm interested in buying one but I'd like to see more pics of it installed first.

Looks great! Considering one of these since I don't really like the ones that have the support rods.

I'd be interested in one that doesn't have the "wings" protruding on the corners. How hard would it be to modify this so that it follows the natural contours of the factory ZL1 splitter?

Support rods are kind of a necessary evil as long as you keep it below a certain speed you'll be ok but there is a member with one and he's doing a high speed run and you can the extension pulling down on the front of the fascia.

Hmm not a fan of the support rods. Just something about it I don't like. If I have to choose to run support, or stay stock to run at speed, I will just leave it stock.
